Musical storytelling at its best! Join singer, Amber Nicole Dilger, and Paul Ester on piano, as they bring to life Paul’s in-the-moment arrangements of jazz standards with a cabaret twist.
Paul Ester has made a career out of being the little bit of everything creative type. After his Bachelor’s degree in Music Technology, Paul proceeded to teach Acoustics, Sound Synthesis, and Electronic Music Composition at Ball State University while earning his Master’s in Music Theory and Composition. After grad school, Paul worked for a number of years at a Chicago-based record label, where he played keyboards and sax as a studio musician, wrote many pieces for new artists, and mastered a multitude of albums. During his time in the music biz, he worked on three Grammy-nominated albums, as well as numerous tracks that climbed up the Billboard charts. In recent years, Paul has been the Creative Director for IQ Foundry, an interactive design agency, where in addition to creating all the music and sound, he does quite a bit of graphic design, animation, and website production. Composition and playing jazz saxophone are still a few of his favorite things.
